📋 Contents
1 Educational Materials & Test Papers
- All materials on the platform are provided for general educational purposes only and do not constitute professional academic, examination or career advice.
- PickyTic makes no guarantees regarding academic performance, examination grades or career outcomes resulting from use of the platform.
- Users should consult qualified educators or professional advisors for advice specific to their circumstances.
- PickyTic is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any third-party content that is linked or referenced on the platform.
- Past paper content is sourced from Singapore schools for educational practice purposes. PickyTic does not guarantee that practice paper content reflects the exact format or difficulty of future examinations.
2 AI-Generated Results, Grading & Analysis
- The platform uses generative AI for grading, feedback and personalised learning suggestions. AI operates as a learning tool and does not replace qualified human educators.
- AI-generated results may contain errors, misinterpretations or inconsistencies. They should not be treated as definitive academic assessments or relied upon for formal educational decisions.
- AI outcomes serve as learning indicators only, not as final or official grades.
- Human Review: Users may request a human review or appeal of any AI-generated result by contacting support@pickytic.ai within 14 days of receiving the result.
- PickyTic continuously monitors AI models for bias, accuracy and alignment with the Singapore MOE curriculum. However, no AI system is entirely free from error, and results should be used as one input among several in a student’s learning process.
3 Community Curator Content
Content uploaded by Community Curators is created and owned by those individuals. PickyTic does not independently verify all community-contributed content for accuracy, completeness or curriculum alignment prior to publication.
- PickyTic is not liable for errors, inaccuracies or omissions in community-contributed content.
- Users who identify errors in community content are encouraged to use the “Report an Issue” function available on each question page.
- The full licensing terms governing Community Curator content — including the rights granted to PickyTic to host, distribute and adapt uploaded content — are set out in our Terms of Use (Section 5).
4 Limitation of Liability
- Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PickyTic’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of this platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user to PickyTic in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or S$100, whichever is greater.
- Exclusion of Consequential Loss: PickyTic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including academic loss, financial loss, reputational damage or loss of data arising from use of the platform — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
- No Guarantee of Accuracy: PickyTic does not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of AI-generated results, community-contributed content or any other materials on the platform.
- User Responsibility: Users are responsible for independently verifying any content or results before relying on them for important educational or personal decisions.
- Consumer Rights: Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA) or other applicable Singapore law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
