2. AI-Generated Results, Grading & Analysis

PickyTic relies on generative AI systems to assist in grading, feedback, and content suggestions.
While we strive for accuracy and fairness, AI results may contain errors, misinterpretations, or inconsistencies.
AI-generated outcomes are indicators of learning, not definitive judgments.
Users may request a human review or appeal AI results within 14 days.
PickyTic monitors AI models for bias, fairness, and alignment with Singapore curriculum standards.

3. Community Curator Content & Licensing

By submitting content (e.g., test papers, assignments, educational resources) to PickyTic:
The Community Curator (CC) grants PickyTic a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to:
Use, host, store, reproduce, distribute, and display the content;
Analyze content for quality, relevance, and educational value;
Modify or adapt content for formatting, categorization, or integration into pooled question banks;
Categorize content by subject, topic, or difficulty;
Redistribute content to students, educators, or third-party platforms consistent with educational objectives.
The Community Curator retains ownership of the original content.
This license is solely for improving platform services, educational access, learning analytics, and content discovery.

4. Parental Consent & Children’s Data

Parental consent is mandatory for users under 13 before collecting personal data.
“By registering your child, you explicitly consent to the collection and use of their personal data for educational and assessment purposes.”
Children’s personal data is collected only to provide learning and assessment services.
Parents can access, update, or delete their child’s data via the account dashboard.
The platform implements privacy-protective default settings and avoids manipulative gamification or dark patterns.

5. Data Privacy & Security

All personal and assessment data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access controls.
PickyTic complies with PDPA, PDPC children’s data guidelines, and cybersecurity best practices.
We maintain a breach response plan and notify PDPC and affected users promptly if significant harm occurs or over 500 users are affected.

6. Limitation of Liability

PickyTic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including academic, financial, or reputational loss, arising from use of the platform.
We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of AI-generated results, community content, or third-party materials.
Users are responsible for verifying content, assessments, or learning insights before acting upon them.

7. Intellectual Property & Use of Platform Content

PickyTic owns or licenses all platform content, including MOE-aligned materials, test papers, model answers, and AI-generated resources.
Users may access content for personal learning and educational purposes only.
Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or commercial use of platform content is prohibited.

8. Updates to the Disclaimer

This Disclaimer may be updated to reflect changes in technology, regulations, or platform services.
Updated versions will be posted on the platform and become effective immediately upon posting.
Users are encouraged to review the Disclaimer periodically.
